Rumors of local sightings of pro wrestler-turned-actor John Cena have been popping up online recently as people report seeing him in and around Bellingham.

The “Peacemaker” star was in the area to visit with family. While Cena was in town, he took time to visit a few local spots, including Camber Coffee on West Holly Street.

“We were busy, and a black SUV pulled up and dropped him off,” Camber employee Galen Lott told The Herald. “He walked to the door, and my coworker was on the front counter taking an order. He stopped and said, ‘Oh (expletive), that’s John Cena,’ which the customers found entertaining. He ordered a latte and a biscuit. He was very nice, which he’s known for, and he just hung out in on a corner by a window.”

Cena took a photo of his order and posted it to Instagram on Sept. 20, sparking more speculation among locals.

The speculation continued after he was photographed leaving The Lighthouse Mission Liminal Coffee.

“He chatted with our staff from both the mission and the coffee shop,” Reuben Evans, director of Marketing and Communications for Lighthouse Mission Ministries, told The Herald in an email. “He took pictures with a couple of the staff members from the Lighthouse Mission as well. We enjoyed having him as a guest.”
